Arrival at Restaurant - The Art of Omotenashi
Arrive at a secluded traditional ryotei. You will be greeted by the hostess (Okami-san) in the spirit of Omotenashi (Japanese hospitality). As she guides you to your private room, she will share the history of the house and the refined etiquette of Kaiseki dining—rooted in the philosophy of "Ichigo Ichie" (treasuring every moment).
Kaiseki Dinner Begins - A Narrative of Seasonal Flavors
Embark on a multi-course gastronomic journey featuring 10 to 12 seasonal delicacies. Each dish is a masterpiece designed to showcase ingredients at their peak flavor. The Okami-san will provide detailed explanations in Japanese, English, and Chinese, narrating the story behind each dish and its exquisite presentation.
Private Geisha Performance - An Intimate Cultural Display
A Geiko or Maiko will enter your private room to perform traditional dances and Shamisen music on a stage set just for you. Following the performance, engage in traditional "Ozashiki Asobi" (Geisha games), offering a rare and playful glimpse into the sophisticated entertainment culture of historic Kyoto.
Tea & Closing - Dialogue and Parting Memories
